VANATS News and Announcements

• VANATS is pleased to announce the 2011 Spring Conference, March 4 & 5 at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Conference clinician is Dr. Cynthia Hoffmann of Juilliard and Manhattan School of Music. Please click here for Dr. Hoffmann's bio.
• The Mid-Atlantic Regional Spring Conference is scheduled for April 1 & 2, 2011 on the campus of Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia.
• National Conferences and Workshop: Registrations are now open! See NATS.org for full information.
  51st National Conference: July 2-6, 2010, Salt Lake City, Utah.
• The Fall Workshop 09, a collaboration with the MD/DC NATS chapter, was a success! The workshop was Sunday, November 1, at George Mason University Our guest clinician was NATS President, Scott McCoy, from Westminster College of the Arts Rider University. The VANATS chapter plans to continue offering fall workshops biennially. Watch for future postings Fall, 2011.
• The four district websites in the Mid-Atlantic Region are now coordinated with the Mid-Atlantic NATS Regional Website, and all enjoy a uniform online application submission process. Starting with the 2009-2010 auditions, paper applications will no longer be permitted on the district level. If you need assistance with the online submission process, please contact one of your district officers.
• VANATS approved and implemented new bylaws Spring, 2009. These are available for viewing on this website under "By-Laws."
