How Can I Become a Member?

VANATS welcomes new members each year. Membership first begins by
becoming a member of the National Association of Teachers of
Singing. NATS membership is open to those whose professional
training and experience qualify him or her as a teacher of singing.
There are three levels of new membership: Full Membership, Associate
Membership, and Affiliate Membership. An application process
precedes prospective membership. For more information, please visit

Becoming a member of your state chapter, Virginia NATS (VANATS),
enables you and your students to participate in the spring VANATS
conference and student auditions. Other benefits include state and
local master classes, workshops, concerts and networking with other
teachers of singing throughout the state.
Membership dues are $20.00 payable annually by December 15th and
mailed to VANATS treasurer Nancy MacArthur Smith.
